Darlington Nduka Ibekwe is a registered patent attorney who stands ready to take on any new challenge. He is excited about the opportunity to combine his engineering background with the practice of law. For Darlington, each new patent application allows him to gain knowledge and hewn his craft.
Prior to his career in law, Darlington received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. After which he spent nine years working in the engineering field on medical devices, hydrogen-fueled vehicles, and in the transportation industry. During his time in the transportation industry, he was involved in design, business, and product development.
Darlington would later earn his Juris Doctor from Trinity Law School and then his LL.M. from The John Marshall Law School. While at John Marshall, Darlington was involved with the IP Patent Clinic. He assisted individuals during the patent application process where he conducted patentability searches, drafted patent opinion letters, and wrote responses to USPTO Office Actions.
Originally from New Jersey, Darlington moved to California to take advantage of the beach life. And when he is not at the beach, he can be found taking in part in various athletic activities such as running, working out, hiking, camping, snowboarding, as well as volunteering for Peace4Kids, a program whose goal is to create a family community for youth in foster care. He enjoys sports and is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
