KUNJAL SHAH – Patent Agent

Kunjal Shah is a registered Patent Agent (under Limited Recognition) with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She received her bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and her LL.B (Legum Baccalaureus) from the Gujarat University in India. Kunjal is also a registered patent agent with the Indian Patent Office and she is registered to practice in the state of Gujarat, India.

Kunjal enjoys working with intellectuals and inventors from various fields and help them bring their inventions to the market place. She takes pride in affecting the scope and validity of inventions by improving the inventor’s chances to get a patent grant.

Before joining Bold IP, PLLC, Kunjal associated with several law firms and has extensive experience working in the field of Patent Law. She also started free-lancing patent services providing end-to-end services with respect to patent drafting and patent prosecution.

Kunjal is quick and expert at conducting prior art searches including patentability, freedom-to-operate, state-of-the-art and invalidity. She also has experience in providing patentability opinions to the clients before filing patent applications. She has extensive experience in patent drafting & patent prosecution covering broad range of technologies including chemical, pharmaceutical, mechanical and software.

Now based in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, Kunjal is a member of South Asian Bar Association, Northern California (SABA-NC). She loves giving back to the community by consistently volunteering at SABA’s Pro Bono Clinics, where she partners with other attorneys in assisting meetings with community members with an array of legal issues.

In her free time, Kunjal enjoys playing tennis, hiking and spending time on the beach with her husband. She is constantly on the lookout for learning something new and her latest challenge is to master skiing!
